The American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) is the oldest multi-speciality organization dedicated to serving as the unique voice for women's health and the advancement of women in medicine.
The American Medical Women's Association at LSUS is geared towards the advancement of women in the field of medicine, healthcare, and science. We represent undergraduate females who desire to pursue a career in healthcare, medicine or science along with those who have a general passion for women's health. Our activities are both inclusive and diverse ranging from community service events, mentorship opportunities, public speaker events featuring healthcare professionals, professional workshops, and personal development workshops. We aim towards the advancement of women’s health in our community along with women’s prominence in the medical field. Our members strive to foster a wholesome and supportive environment for all members.
AMWA at LSUS membership grants membership in all three divisions, including local AMWA at LSUS membership, national membership (AMWA), and international membership (MWIA). Médecins Sans Frontières, sometimes rendered in English as Doctors Without Borders, is an international humanitarian medical non-governmental organization of French origin best known for its projects in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases. Founded on December 22, 1971, in Paris, France, MSF provides life-saving medical care to over 2 million people each year in over 70 countries around the world.
Our aim as a student chapter of the USA Friends of MSF Student Chapter Program is to raise awareness about the humanitarian mission of Doctors Without Borders or MSF, encourage students to consider working with such organization students post-graduate, and raise money for the fieldwork and campaigns hosted by MSF.

The Student Government Association is the representative legislative body for students enrolled at Louisiana State University. The SGA's mission is to improve student life and facilitate communication among students, faculty, and staff. We offer opportunities for leadership and service to students looking to make a change on campus. The SGA is composed of 30 members: President, Vice President, Secretary and 27 Senators elected to represent the entire student body.

To provide education/awareness of dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, retaliation, power-based violence, and bystander intervention in order to provide a learning, working, and living environment free of sex- and gender-based harassment and discrimination, including sexual misconduct. Also provides training and awareness regarding equity issues to ensure a campus environment where all students and employees feel like they belong at LSUS.

The Department of Title IX and Equity provides outreach and educational awareness to students and employees of LSUS and investigates reports of allegations of dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, retaliation, power-based violence, sexual misconduct, and discrimination

Turning Point USA’s mission is to educate students about the importance of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and constitutional rights through innovative campus activism and non-partisan, thought-provoking discussion. This is done with the use of provided academic resources which include: weekly activism pamphlets, short videos, free of charge contributor speeches, and in person support by TPUSA staff.
